    Very, very warm and friendly.

Had a cheese and meat platter, which was excellent, and a glass of local wine. A great venue with great friends.

Excellent service from Krista and would definitely come again. A great local find.

I upgraded this to a five. This is a perfect wine bar.

    First but not last visit.
What a gem! Tiny and personal. Such an eclectic decor and very friendly owner. Knows her wine and food delicacies. Each item has been painstakingly selected.
All Niagara wines from small yield wineries. Single varietal Kacaba Cab Franc Rose was exquisite!
Choices of veggie, cheese or meat platters available. Or combination thereof.
Veggie platter, meat & cheese with 3 meat, 2 cheese served with baguette & crostini & green olives, plus 2 glasses of wine came to $61 with tax. Excellent value for two. We were quite satisfied.
And ladies, check out the ladies washroom! It's gorgeous.

Very cozy little gem. I love this place because I can go in, on my own, and not feel uncomfortable... and you don't say that too often about a woman walking into a bar alone.
The owner is really friendly and knows her wine. I like the fact that it's all non-LCBO and from Ontario vineyards.
I love the different cheese that they have on offer. Supporting local farmers is a bonus!
You HAVE to try the black garlic. Omg... It is so yummy. It tastes like figs!
I highly recommend dropping in for an intimate date night, girls' night out or on your own.
It's wonderful to have this little treasure, in the Beaches.

This is an incredibly unique experience in the Beach, and perhaps in Toronto. With only 18 seats, our evening here reminded us of one of the greatest times we have had... a little 12-seat restaurant in Florence. The vibe was the same. Little tables a stone's throw from one another, enabling lots of laughter and cross-conversations. Corks & Platters has been open for one month, and is the brainchild of a woman with LOADS of restaurant experience and a desire to provide unique, Canadian-sourced food and wines. Tonight, Tuesday, was also oyster night. Let's start with decor. Loved it. Quaint, and thought through. The ladies loo is one of the most fun ones I have ever seen :) It is really a charming little place. The vibe.... friendly, caring, passionate and fun. All the seats were taken, and the owner had a bit of a scramble keeping up, but that was OK with us. The overall experience was stellar, and growing pains were to be expected. The food. Wow. The menu is simple. There is a meat platter/cheese platter/veggie platter option, in two sizes. We had one large meat and one large cheese platter. Both exceeded out expectations. $26 and $27 respectively, with 5 choices on each. You have choices on both from a list of about eight options. What really blew us away was the attention the owner had placed in selecting her foods. All sourced from the best available. The biggest surprise was the AMAZING condiments. A black garlic paste from PEI, not readily available, blew us out of the water, and was on both platters. On the meat platter, a white horseradish jelly from Niagara-On-The-Lake was spectacular. On the cheese platter, a wonderful red pepper jelly. Great olives. Fresh bread. There was certainly enough food for both of us. Now about oyster night. GREAT presentation and wonderful horseradish. We started with 6, and ordered 6 more, from PEI. Just LOVED them. Because it was oyster night, the owner had a choice of two Ontario champagnes...a rose and a traditional....both spectacular. None of her wines are available at the LCBO. We LOVED our Kacaba Cabernet Sauvignon 2011. Can compete with many we have had in California at  much higher prices. . Wines by the glass or by the bottle. She has beers and wines she has selected carefully, and she really knows what she is doing. They are highly focused, so no dessert or coffee, but this is is not an issue. Stroll a few doors down to the famous Ed's for ice cream, or to the Remarkable Bean further east for great coffee. Enjoy your night in the Beach! This is totally a restaurant worth visiting. It embodies the true "wine bar" experience. They deserve to be a huge success :)))))

Very nice quaint ambience and the decor comes together well. The owner has decorated everything herself and has an eye for detail. Well-versed in the wine world and supports local wineries. Has a good selection of reds and whites from Ontario. Small space of approx 20-person capacity, but loved it! Next time we will have to try the black garlic that she also serves! Will be returning.
